I was born in Izmir in 1981, with what my father described as "a difficult start to life." Yet, despite that challenging beginning, I experienced a very happy childhood, surrounded by love and constantly feeling the strength of family bonds. My youth, from my life at Saint Joseph, where volleyball and friendship were central, to my time at Galatasaray University, was shaped by a strong sense of justice and resilience, which now form the foundation of my coaching approach.

Barcelona: Building Roots with Love and Career

In 2004, I came to Barcelona not only for my master's degree but also to build a future with the person I loved. For five years at Arkas, I tried to cope with the stress of being the only foreigner in the environment while also striving to prove myself professionally and develop my skills. At the same time, I was trying to adapt to a new culture and a life in new languages, and I can say that I succeeded in all of these, even though it took time and effort. However, the health problems I experienced in 2010 were my body's "stop" signal. I put my academic and professional ego aside and started selling printers to printing companies by phone for HP at CPM. This project was a calm and pleasant harbor at the time, but it was also the first major ego test of my career. I discovered that true balance lies in peace. And that choice I made that day shaped part of my career in Barcelona.

Motherhood and Global Leadership

In 2012, as I learned the patience of parenthood with the birth of my son, I simultaneously evolved into a leader managing 1,000-person operations for giants like Google, Meta, and TikTok. Our decision to separate from my husband in 2018 was a mature transition, one that preserved the shared world we had built with love and respect for our son.
