My life has been shaped by turning points where I navigated uncertainties. The inquiry that began in Izmir evolved into a quest for independence in Istanbul, and then into a journey to put down roots in a new culture in Barcelona in 2004.

During this process, not only cities changed, but also roles and identities. Major life transitions such as health issues, parenthood, and divorce taught me the responsibility of maintaining serenity amidst crises and making decisions alone.

Throughout my operational leadership experience and in all my relationships, I have always noticed this: In moments of uncertainty, people need to be heard and to feel trust before seeking quick answers. When I clarified the inadequacy of success without alignment with my values, I consciously chose to pause in 2024.
